PEKAR began its operations in Iraq in 2012 with the successful construction and commissioning of one of the Kurdistan Region’s first 500 TPD Bitumen Production Plants. Since then, our engineering team has been actively contributing to Iraq’s industrial development for more than 14 years.Over the years, PEKAR has successfully delivered more than six Bitumen Production Plants and is currently executing two Vacuum Distillation Unit (VDU) projects and two Solvent Separation Unit (SSU) projects, alongside several other industrial developments across Iraq.Today, PEKAR provides comprehensive Engineering, Procurement Support, Manufacturing, Construction, Installation, Commissioning, Production Support, Operation Support, and Maintenance Services.
